About  Conduct

Welcome, This is a Gorean City. 21+ only.

1} On entering, all kajira must kneel, assume the tower position, and ask permission to remain. Permission is also needed to exit, as well as to go afk.
Permission is not required to re-enter on disconnects and ping outs if you return within ten minutes.

2} No private messaging without obtaining permission in channel first,
from the either the owner of the collared slaves or channel ops for non-collared slaves.

3} This goes for all - no other city slamming!   If you have a problem take it to that other city-site.
If you have a problem with a free person take it private or leave.

4} Forced collars, face stripping, banning are all at the discretion of the operator at the time.  Put bluntly - if it would be justified in Norman's Port Kar, it is justified here.

5} If you are displeased with a slave:   Free Women , after giving a suitable switching or other punishment, are to leave word for her owner - she will be dealt with in suitable fashion.  If a slave is in anyway displeasing to an op or free man:  it is to that op's or free man's discretion as to how to deal with the slave - up to but not including a forced collar of another's property - unless of course proper retribution is made, or, you are clever enough to get away with it. The killing of a slave should not be justified except in the most serious of offenses - and then solely the right of an operator.  Killing is, effectively, a total, irrevocable, ban.

6} Open scening is encouraged.  This may either be of a sensual/sexual nature, or, as a discipline.   Keep in mind the displaying of a slave may truly increase the value of such slave, if you have wish, of course, of selling.   Although theft of a slave is frowned on, this is Port Kar, to increase the desire of other free men present may just as easily mean your property could turn up "missing"--bound, gagged and transported away in another collar.  Needless to add here, all unowned slaves (as well as foolish free women) are entering at their risk. Advice to the wary:  beg a collar from somewhere before entering - even if it's from another city.

Slave Rules

1} Slaves are solely here, and must only enter if they can give their undivided attention here.  Do not log in on lunch break, while your hair is drying, or while "hanging out" in other places. Exceptions are given to slaves whose owners have contacted ops here prior and requested that their slaves remain in the owner's empty channel as well to keep it open.  When guests arrive in that channel, such slaves must log out of Port Kar and attend to their free or slave guests.

2} Prewritten "pop up" serves are not allowed.

3} Slaves must use third person when entering, as in "<slave name> wishes to enter, please?"   Yes, it is said that in the books, this was reserved for certain circumstances, such as training but, this is Port Kar and we like it that way. Slaves may speak in first person after permission to stay has been granted.

4} Slaves are not allowed to use foul words ("foul" being the determinant of the Free present).  If a slave should inadvertently offend, it is expected that an apology be heartfelt and swiftly offered when such error is identified.

5} If you're a new slave to Gor please inform the channel ops; if no ops are present then to the masters that are present . Once you start serving and make a mistake you could fall into being punished if found not pleasing. If you are new to Gor, please ad -obs to your nick before entering.  A master or op will then tell you when you've learned enough and  may remove the -obs permanently.

6} Slaves must remember that respect for all free persons must be upheld at all times,
Not doing so will get you punished.

7} Do not use the word slave heat unless you plan on being used sexually! Palms upward on your knees,  is a sign of offering yourself in a sexual manner.   Offering yourself is also done by placing a talender blossom in your hair, or, proffering a larma fruit to a master.  If you do these things to a particular master, also be advised that if he declines to use you, any master present may feel inclined to, and it will be his right.  Exception of course to collared slaves doing such for their owners.

8} While a free person may not always be right, they are, by definition, never wrong.
Slaves always have the last word in any disagreement - the words "Yes, Master."

9} All Freepersons are to be addressed as either Master or Mistress.
If the sex of the free person cannot be determined from the name, Master is to be used until the gender is clarified.  Then slaves in error must restate the greeting, request, etc, with the proper title to that free person and offer an apology as well.

10} Perfection of service and submission is the goal, mere excellence will be tolerated.

11} If your master is present his commands are considered first, as masters enjoy having their slaves at their disposal. If he is not here your actions depend on his restrictions. If allowed to serve you must do so. If there are none requiring service, use the time to clean, cook, bake, or other required house duties, if such needs doing. You may also join your sister slaves in discussing things such as serving techniques or to learn about Gor.

12} If allowed by your master you may also travel, either alone or with your sisters to other locations around Gor, always remembering that your actions reflect back to your master and your house while also being respectful to the house in which you have been allowed to visit. Most will respect your collar but if a situation arise that conflicts with your master's restrictions, respectfully explain that and ask permission to leave. If all else fails, just leave and keep your logs so we can review what transpired.

13} Slaves possess nothing unless given to them for pleasing adornment by their owner, this includes a name.
What is given can be taken away. If you are entrusted to carry a name for an owner,
or silks or jewelry, remember that these can be removed as easily as they were given.
